Map catalonia with Priorat

Climate
The Priorat region enjoys a Mediterranean climate. It is also a land of contrasts: cold in the winter and very warm in the summer which makes perfect conditions for the growing of vines. Nighttime temperatures and daytime temperatures also vary considerably during the summer (reaching around 30-40º C or ??? Fahrenheit during the day) and cool sea breezes moisturise some of the vines which suffer severe dehydration during the summer months. It is also a very dry area. Annual rainfall for the past three years has been around 500 litres/year.
