This restaurant is set in beautifully decorated surroundings in what was once a chicken run on the outskirts of the village of Gratallops. Clos Figueras & Les Figueres are a new concept of wine tourism in the very heart of Priorat wine country. Owned by Christopher Cannan and headed up by his daughter, Anne Joséphine Cannan, this new Fine Wine & Food complex is destined to become the hub of Priorat wine tourism. The restaurant was recently acquired by Clos Figueres who already own the winery in the same building. Light meals, tomato bread, cheeses, grilled meats, sausage and great salads. Price around 25 Euros per person plus wines. Outdoor terrace and garden - one of the most relaxing places in the Priorat.. Seating for around 25 diners indoors..

Minerva Pi has just brought out a second edition of her popular "Priorat Cuisine" cookbook. Roser Vernet has re-edited the original version: "Priorat a taula" which was out of print. Available at various shops and the Priorat Tourist Office in Falset, but only in Catalan - sorry!
