Hotel-Restaurant which has opened in the last few years in one of the remotest villages of the Priorat, Siurana. The hotel is a new build which blends in perfectly with the older village houses. Spectacular views from the open air garden terrace towards the Monstant mountain range. Great place for a romantic evening watching the sun going down. Run by Anaïs Chauveau, a charming French woman and her Catalan partner, Pau Escriu. Price per person from 30 Euros upwards. Tasting menu for around 57 Euros. No smoking. Seating for 30 diners.

PRIORAT CUISINE

Minerva Pi has just brought out a second edition of her popular "Priorat Cuisine" cookbook. Roser Vernet has re-edited the original version: "Priorat a taula" which was out of print. Available at various shops and the Priorat Tourist Office in Falset, but only in Catalan - sorry!
